Your CSV files never leave your browser. All processing happens locally using JavaScript and Web Workers. We never upload, store, or access your data.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

RowSweep does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Your CSV files or their contents
  • The results of cleaning operations
  • File names or metadata
  • Any data from your spreadsheets

2. Data We Do Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service:

  • Account data: If you sign up for Pro, your email address and payment details are processed by our authentication service and Polar (payment processor).
  • Cookies: We use cookies for authentication and ad preferences. We use Google AdSense for advertising (free tier only). You can accept or reject ad cookies via the cookie consent banner.
  • localStorage: We store your license status, usage count, and cleaning preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser.

In compliance with GDPR/PECR, we show a cookie consent banner. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense) are only loaded after you accept. You can reject cookies and still use the core tool.

5. Data Retention

Since we do not store your CSV data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Account data is retained as long as your subscription is active. You can request account deletion by emailing us.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. Since RowSweep processes CSV data entirely in your browser, your data is always under your control. For account-related requests, contact us.
